| THE CASTLE WINNER AT HOTDOCS 2011 |
The documentary film "The Castle" produced and directed by Massimo D’Anolfi & Martina Parenti, was awarded the First Prize of the Internationa Jury at HOTDOCS 2011.
One year in the life of Malpensa intercontinental airport, Italy’s main airport with over 18 million passengers crossing its corridors every year and one of the largest in Europe. As in Kakfa’s novel, this is a place where bureaucracy, procedures and control put individual freedom through to a serious test. An observational documentary, a complex mosaic of faces and gestures which can be poignant and touching, at times even ironic.
Produced in association with RAI Cinema, the documentary is distributed by GA&A Productions worldwide.

| “COMIC BOOKS GO TO WAR” BEST REPORTAGE AT FIFA, MONTREAL |
Our documentary “Comic Books go to War” directed by Mark Daniels won the Best Reportage Award at FIFA-International Festival of Films on Art, whose 29th edition ended in Montreal on March 27th.
Comic Books explores the work of the most famous graphic novelists and war reporters such as Joe Sacco (“Palestine”), Ted Rall (“To Afghanistan and back”), Joe Kubert (“Fax from Sarajevo”), Marjane Satrapi (“Persepolis”), Keji Nakazawa (“Barefoot Gen”), and it will be screened at the International Journalism Festival in Perugia (Italy) with the support of FX-Fox Channels Italy in cooperation with GA&A, together with two other war-related documentaries distributed by GA&A: the award-winning “Armadillo” and “Never Ending Soldier”.

| WHEN YOU'RE STRANGE by Tom DiCillo WINS A GRAMMY |
The documentary film about the Doors written and directed by Tom DiCillo was awarded a Grammy as Best Long Form Music Video on february 13th. The film is distributed in Italy by GA&A.
This is a great victory for director and producers (first in line Dick Wolf, known for Law & Order TV series, and a big Doors' fan), who took four
years to make the film.
