Produced by GA&A in association with Ester Produzioni, it is shot over one year in the Accademia alla Scala di Milano, the only institution in the world to train the whole range of theatre professionals. Opening Act follows the lives of the students, their teachers and reveals the heartbreaking, body crushing training routine, recounts their anxiety and takes us into the spectacular world of opening nights.
