CAMORRA won the Memory Of The Mediterranean Award @PriMed 2019
We are proud to announce that Camorra by Francesco Patierno has received the Memory Of The Mediterranean Award @PriMed 2019 in Marseille
Camorra portrays the social and historical landscape of Naples, the capital of Campania, and the way organized crime shapes the cityscape. Camorra is deeply entrenched into the soul of the city. Following its development between 1960 and the 90s, the project follows each step. From the initial subordination to the Mafia, where Camorra managed the post war smuggling of tobacco, to the ascent to power of Raffaele Cutolo, who unified the clans into single, powerful economic organization, with its own military power.
